Cabinet approves KAS.
RECRUITMENT
There will be 120 job openings in KAS. 29 important departments and administrative officer, finance officer, divisional accountant, superintendent posts from general administration are now in KSA.
One third of the vacancies in KAS will be filled from qualified employees and the age limit for them is 40 years.
One third of the post will be filled from gazetted officers below 50 years
One third of the vacancies will be filled by direct recruitment. For them the age limit is 32.
Reservation will not be there for the recruitment from employees.
Reservation will be obeyed for the direct recruitment.
PROMOTION
Four divisions are there in KAS.
- Junior
- Senior
- Selection
- Super time scale.
Junior will become senior after 8 years.
Senior will become selection grade after 6 years
Selection will become super time scale after 6 years
Promotions based on vacancies are abolished in KAS
80 posts from secretariat and deputations are included in the KAS.
6 cadre posts from general administration and under secretary, deputy secretary, joint secretary, additional secretary, special secretary posts are also included in the KAS
In KAS a person who starts as a junior will become under secretary only after 32 years.
